Signature Baking + Farmer Direct Foods: A Partnership Built on Purpose

We’re excited to announce our new partnership with Signature Baking—an iconic bakery serving the Dallas-Fort Worth community for generations.

Founded and built by the DeSouza family, Signature Baking has long been a quiet force behind some of the region’s best bread. Their signature sandwich loaves, soft buns, and hoagie rolls are trusted by restaurants, grocers, and food service providers across North Texas—and have been for decades.

Today, Signature is led by fourth-generation baker OJ DeSouza, who has continued his family’s legacy while guiding the bakery into a new era of thoughtful growth. Under his leadership, Signature has deepened its investment in quality, expanded its reach, and remained committed to doing business the right way—with humility, accountability, and a deep respect for craft.

That’s what makes this partnership so meaningful.

“As a family bakery, we’ve always believed in knowing who we do business with. Working with Farmer Direct Foods means we can stand behind our products in a way that truly connects our customers to the people behind our ingredients.”

– OJ DeSouza

At Farmer Direct Foods, we mill flour from regeneratively grown wheat sourced directly from multi-generational American farms. Our flour is fully traceable back to the farmer who grew it—because we believe transparency and trust should be part of every ingredient.

Now, our flour is part of Signature’s story—fueling the breads and rolls served in restaurants, markets, and homes across Dallas-Fort Worth.

This partnership reflects the values we both care about: better ingredients, stronger supply chains, and long-term relationships built on integrity. We’re proud to support Signature Baking and the customers they serve—and excited for what’s ahead.

Together, we’re baking better—and building better too.

Stay tuned. There’s plenty more to come.
